NH Veteran’s Appreciation Luncheon Organized by Turkish Cultural Center on December 11, 2013

The Turkish Cultural Center of New Hampshire organized a luncheon program for veterans of the Henry J. Sweeney American Legion Post. The Program began with a speech by TCC board member Nedim Aycaner, continuing with a video presentation about the Korean War. The veterans were overcome with emotion as they shared sentimental moments from times when they fought alongside Turkish forces. As they shared memories, they were offered samples of Turkish delicacies and the program commenced with retired police officer Pat Boyle and his friends’ traditional Scottish music performance.
