Turkish Cultural Center NH Volunteers Help Build 20 Beds for Children in Need

Last Sunday, September 13, 2026, more than 70 volunteers from Trinity Lutheran Church (Chelmsford), Christ the King Lutheran Church (Nashua, NH), Messiah Lutheran Church (Amherst), Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church (Salem), and the Turkish Cultural Center New Hampshire (Manchester), together with 16 SHP Station Leads, came together to build 20 beds for local children in need.

Special thanks go to Chelmsford Public Schools for allowing the build to take place in the gym of Parker Middle School despite the heavy rain. We are also grateful to the church community for sponsoring the event, to all the volunteers who turned lumber into beds, and to the Sleep in Heavenly Peace team for their hard work in making the day such a success.

As the Turkish Cultural Center New Hampshire, we are proud that our volunteers took part in this meaningful community effort. Thanks to everyone’s collective work, another 20 children can now sleep in beds of their own instead of on the floor.
